Position Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching students of varying ages and abilities, with a particular focus on preschool and kindergarten-aged children. This individual will contribute to our inclusive and supportive environment by inspiring creativity, building confidence, and nurturing a love of dance.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach dance classes to multiple age groups and skill levels with enthusiasm and proficiency.

• Demonstrate a particular passion for teaching preschool and kindergarten-age students.

• Offer instruction in various dance styles, including (but not limited to) Ballet, Jazz, Modern, and Hip Hop.

• Open and close the studio following established Park Hill Dance Academy procedures.

• Maintain proficiency with studio enrollment software such as Dance Studio Pro, as well as Google Suite for administrative tasks.

• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and fellow instructors by providing exceptional communication and customer service.

• Follow our established syllabus and teaching format to ensure consistency in student learning and development.

• Support the studio beyond teaching, such as assisting with events, engaging with parents, and being a welcoming presence in the studio space.

• CPR Certification preferred.

Availability

• Must be available to teach two days a week and on weekends.

• There is potential for additional hours to support administrative tasks and provide studio assistance as the welcoming face for parents and students.

Compensation:

Independent Contractor 

Part Time: 2 - 10 hours per week 

Starting Pay $30 per hour for first 90 days with opportunity to increase based on performance
